Other UAE Versions
This is the main fork of UAE which gets updated far more than any other version. Many features start here first before being ported to other versions.
The compatibility is pretty much 100% for A500 and excellent for A1200 too. There are tons of experimental and advanced features in WinUAE. It caters to the lack of modern real Amiga hardware and is able to run Amiga software faster than any real Amiga ever could.
